Frequently Asked Questions
I own a pair of Julbos. Can I purchase a set of Julbo RX Lab Prescription lenses for them?
All Julbo Rx lenses must be fitted into a new frame at our Lab in Jura, France. A big part of the process is ensuring a prescise fit of the lens into the frame. However, there is no cost associated with the new frame!
What Is the Julbo Rx Lab Prescription Warranty?
Julbo RXLAB prescription eyewear has a limited two-year warranty from the date of purchase for any manufacturing defect regarding our special lens coatings, lens treatments or frame breakage due to material or defective workmanship. All warranty claims must be handled directly through the original dealer. If you purchased them from Julbo USA, please reach out to us. We stand by our products and if you are not completely satisfied, we will work with you to determine the best solution. Please Note: The Julbo Rx Lab warranty does not cover scratched lenses or breakage caused by wear and tear. Julbo frames installed with non-Julbo custom or prescription lenses are not covered under warranty. This warranty extends only to residents of the United States.

Will I need to adapt to my new Julbo Rx glasses?

This depends on the nature of the repair. If your frame is broken or damaged, we will do our best to help you fix it within the terms of our Rx Warranty. Spare frame parts (this does not include Julbo Rx Lab lenses) can be found on here on Julbo.us. The prescription on my enclosed Rx card does not match my Rx
That is expected! The actual prescription built into your lenses will vary slightly based on factors such as distance from eye and curvature of the lens. Your Rx card will reflect your written prescription, and the actual prescription built into the lenses.
How will I know what my frame/lens selection will look like?
The Julbo Rx-Team works with you before submitting anything to the lab. You will receive an email from our Rx team with a final quote of your order before it is sent to the RX Lab.
This quote will have details of your order, as well as a reference of your color selections for you to review. Once approved, Julbo sends the order our state of the art Rx Lab.
How can I check on my order status?
Once an order is placed, it takes between 3-6 weeks before it lands on your doorstep. Once we receive your Rx sunglasses from France, they will be shipped to you with two-day shipping. At this point you will receive an email with tracking. If you'd like an update in the intermediate time, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or send us a chat below.
How much does shipping cost?
All Julbo RX orders ship for free with FedEx 2 day. The cost reflected on our website includes the frame, lenses, and all shipping. Please note, orders will need a signature upon delivery unless otherwise requested.
