Find your fit!
THE PERFECT FIT

Designed For You

Why Frame Trial?
Need prescription Julbos but don’t know what frame to get? Our frame trial might be the solution for you! This is a great way to find the best fitting frame before we place the order with our Rx lab.

The Process
Our frame trial is a simple and easy process. We offer up to five frames to demo so you can see the style and fit of our sunglasses. Please note that due to inventory restrictions, we are unable to send our specific frame colors and lenses as we only have certain frame and lens combos in our frame trial inventory. That being said, we do our best to send a variety of lenses and our customer service team is happy to help walk you through any questions you have! If you plan on ordering progressive Julbo sunglasses, we will need the fitting height value. Once you have selected you frame, please take the frame to your optometrist to get a fitting height measured and email that value to info@julbousa.com.

How it works
If you are interested in a frame trial, please email info@julbousa.com with the subject “Frame Trial Request” including frame choices, shipping address, phone number and a brief description of what activities and environments you plan to use your sunnies for. This will give our customer service team an idea of any other suggestions to find your best fit! Additionally, we will need your most up-to-date prescription attached (we require prescriptions to include an expiration date and doctor’s signature) and your MPD values. You can get your MPD values by calling your optometrist or going in for a quick visit to get this measurement (you do not usually need an appointment). Once we have set up your order, we will send an invoice for 50% MSRP for payment (shipping is free). Once paid, your order will ship within the next 1-2 business days and will take 3 days to be delivered. When the frame trial arrives, try on the sunnies and see what you think! If you did not provide a MPD value above, we will need you to get this from your optometrist in order to submit your order to our lab. Please note that PD/2 is not the same as MPD. **If you are ordering a progressive item, we will need you to get your fitting height. The fitting height must be measured according to the frame you have selected for your Rx pair of sunglasses. In order to do this, we will send you the selected frame to obtain this value. Your payment for your Rx sunglasses will act as a deposit for this frame. If the sunglasses come back damaged or in unsellable condition, you will be responsible for 50% of the MSRP value. Please ensure your optometrist does not mark directly on the lens. We have a small team processing frame trial returns, so please be patient while your refund is processed. If the sunglasses come back in their original condition, a full refund will be issued. Now that you have decided on your lens and frame combo, you can ship your frame trial back with the provided return label and place your final order on JulboRx.com!

Ready To Start Your Frame Trial?

Step 1 - What You'll Need
Place order on JulboRx.com with uploaded prescription including an expiration date and doctor’s signature. Additionally, pay attention to if you are ordering a progressive or single-vision lens on our Rx site and ensure the correct lens option is selected. If you do not see a place to upload your prescription, please email your prescription to info@julbousa.com and our team will connect your prescription with your order.

Step 2 - Next Choose Your Frames
Please call or visit your optometrist to obtain your MPD values. We are unable to submit your order to our lab without this measurement. Monocular pupillary distance measures from the midline of your face, out to each pupil. This is a per-eye measurement, so there will be a right and a left eye value. Please note, this is different from the pupillary distance (PD), which measures from pupil to pupil. MPD helps account for any asymmetries. It is possible your MPD will be equal to your PD divided in two, but more often than not your right and left MPD values will be different. If you are ordering a progressive lens, we will need you to get your fitting height.

Step 3 - Send Us An Email
Once we have all the necessary information (prescription, MPD, fitting height for progressive models, shipping address, phone number and payment), our Rx team will put the information into a draft. We will need written confirmation that the draft is accurate before proceeding with submitting your order to the lab.

Step 4 - Order Is Submitted
Once we receive written confirmation, we will submit your order to the lab. This will take 5-8 weeks for your item to be delivered to you. Once your item has arrived at our warehouse, our warehouse team will ship the order and tracking will be available. We do require a signature on delivery.
